Baked-in dependence: What’s Europe’s addiction to fossil fuels got to do with the price of bread?

Last winter, Berlin-based documentary film agency Oblique Collective visited people across Germany, Poland and France, to put a human face on the energy crisis caused by our reliance on fossil fuels. The resulting film, shown for the first time in the re:publica offstage programme, brings home how a failure to transition sooner to renewable energy sources has contributed to inflation across the continent.
