We are delighted to announce that re:publica will be coming to Hamburg for the first time on September 22nd to 23rd, 2023, as part of the esteemed Reeperbahn Festival. Our programme will feature an exciting lineup of lectures, panels, workshops, meetups, and more, spanning two days across three stages. This is your opportunity to be a part of it! Starting now, we are accepting submissions for programme ideas for #rpRBF through our Call for Participation (CfP).
The Programme Formats
We are seeking a diverse array of topics encompassing the internet, its communities, environmental and social sustainability, innovative economic and employment models, insightful perspectives on both emerging and established media, global and local financial infrastructures, digital transactions, and much more for the re:publica x Reeperbahn Festival programme. If you wish to spotlight Hamburg as a digital hub within your program idea, we find that particularly captivating!
We look forward to your submissions for the following areas:
Engage and explore with fellow participants on our stages and in our workshop spaces, delving into thought-provoking conversations that center around shaping a more vibrant and inclusive digital society.
Formats you can submit: Lecture, discussion, meetup.
All sessions related to making and learning have their place in our "Hands On" programme.
Formats you can submit: Workshop, Tutorial, Dialogue Format, Games
Whatever comes to mind to enliven and shape the Hamburg Heiligengeistfeld site outside of the stages—artistic, activist, scientific, technological, informative.

The Thematic Focuses
Join us in Hamburg as we carry forward the compelling discourse on the #rp23 theme of "CASH." We invite you to build upon this thought-provoking motto for your CfP submission, allowing it to serve as a launching pad for your innovative ideas and explorations. But please do not feel confined by this - additionally, our thematic tracks and topics offer can serve as an inspiration, providing a starting point for you to delve deeper into captivating areas of interest.
