Welcome back to re:publica! When we open #rp23 on 5 June, a "moderation dream team" consisting of Anna Dushime, Nilz Bokelberg and Geraldine de Bastion will guide you through the programme.

We are very happy that our newcomer Anna will come on stage and take over the moderation despite her broken leg! With Geraldine and Nilz, we will have two familiar faces on stage 1 again.

While Anna and Nilz will guide us through the programme on the main stage during the three days of the festival, Geraldine will conduct the interviews and talks on political topics, among others with Douglas Rushkoff, Marlene Engelhorn and Christian Lindner.

Anna Dushime is a writer, presenter and editorial director for the Grimme Award-winning satire format Browser Ballet, among others. As a columnist, she regularly wrote about dating, racism and everything in between for TAZ from 2019 to 2022. She also hosted the first season of the successful dating podcast "1000 First Dates", and recorded the Doctors Without Borders podcast "Emergency Room" weekly from 2019 until her parental leave. Since September 2019, she has been editorial director at the Berlin production company Steinberger Silberstein.

Nilz Bokelberg started his moderation career at the age of 17 at the music channel VIVA. He has been with us since the first re:publica and will probably be remembered by re:publica participants from previous years, especially thanks to his joint bingo sessions with Markus Herrmann. This year, he will once again be presenting a bingo session on Tuesday in the Trödelhalle.

Geraldine de Bastion is a long-standing member of the re:publica curation team and very familiar with the programme. Together with the Global Innovation Gathering (GIG), she coordinates the Makerspace, which celebrates its tenth anniversary at re:publica this year. In addition to sessions on Stage 1, she will also moderate the panel with Claudia Roth on Stage 5 on Tuesday.

We are looking forward to three fantastic days with you and would also like to thank all the other stage hosts of #rp23!
