Via this year's Call for Participation and by invitation, we have received many great projects from the re:publica community. Artists, collectives, crafters and hackers, activists and performers show their work and deal with the topic of CASH, sometimes concretely, sometimes abstractly.

Here we present some of the highlights:

The large outdoor area also has a lot to offer. The Loo:topia garden is back this year with even more participatory and informational activities: don't miss the Shit Bingo!

In addition, the collective engmaschig will be back on the grounds with their mobile money knitting machine and will be busy knitting CASH for everyone. You can also practice throwing your money out of the window: A window frame will be wandering around the site (a German pun for "pouring money down the drain").

On the upper deck of the Hoppetosse you will again find many exciting talks. On the middle deck of our festival ship there will be talkaoke - together you can continue to expand on topics or raise new ones.

At Arena Halle you can expect the KOPFGELD. Ludic Eigenface Currency Converter game by Margarete Jahrmann and Stefan Glasauer, which can convert your face into a currency. Furthermore, the interactive exhibition "Rebell*innen! Zeigt eure Gesichter!" (Rebels! Show your faces!). Tell us who you think is missing and celebrate your personal heroines with a poster at re:publica 23.

We are especially happy that the artist collective KOSMOS from Kiev will be joining us. With the Hedgehog Reuse Manual they present different ways to transform tank blockades - for the time when the war is over.

You can also get to know the artists of the Off Stage programme in several meet-the-artist sessions at Home Base.

This year, the Arena Club will once again become the Media Parcours. There will be sound and video installations as well as various VR experiences. In [Posthuman Wombs] you accompany a pregnant posthuman. This work by Anan Fries and Malu Peeters is a co-production of HAU Hebbel am Ufer and Kaserne Basel. We are showing the virtual essay as part of our cooperation with HAU Hebbel am Ufer. The installation Fragile Connections, also in the Media Parcours, documents the Cuban grassroots network SNET, which emerged as a reaction to the severely limited internet access in Cuba. Media artist Pedro Harres is showing his VR work From the Main Square, which was recently on view at SXSW, for the first time in Berlin!

Mind the Brain! - CA$H DELIMITATION will show you the exciting images from a Human Brain Interface and at How to move public money (fast) you can find out how to get public funds as fast as possible. The Mixed Media Parcours is funded by the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB) and supported by the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb).

Next door in the Glashaus you can also expect a diverse programme: NowHere Media presents their VR documentary You Destroy. We Create - The War on Ukraine's Culture in combination with a poster exhibition of Ukrainian artists. Nadine Kolodziey will show the AR exhibition Augmented CASH Flow and some students of the Experimental Game Cultures programme will present their versatile and different approaches to games with motion tracking or electro-microscopes. The Viennese artist Ulrich Formann is bringing his Slot Machine - Tracking Europes Ghosts Flights to Berlin for the first time. In addition, a robot will be waiting to interact with you in the Glashaus!

At Festsaal Kreuzberg, Oyoun will present their project Rongin Shagor - Will you remember to keep us afloat, and you can also try out the Cash Flow Chart.

At Flutgraben you will find AI-Berts Fresh Place - a supermarket installation with AI-generated products.

A brand new venue is the Trödelhalle: in this location you can design a new currency in the RE:design CASH Studio and experiment with different video loops at Video Feedback Still Life. Also to be found in the Trödelhalle is the Nerdistan Area, which invites you to battle on iconic arcade machines. The retro gaming area was already there last year and will be back even bigger in 2023.

The digital #rp23 world on Gather Town

If you can't be there, you can find exciting formats on Gather Town. We are especially happy that we have a cooperation with HAU Hebbel am Ufer this year and that you can also get to know hau4 - the digital stage of HAU - on Gather Town.

Don't miss the artistic swimmers at the sundowner at Badeschiff!

Have a look, touch, play, discuss, try and do it yourself - there's certainly something of interest for everyone at the Off Stage programme. We are looking forward to seeing you.
