Chen Quifan (a.k.a Stanley Chan) is an award-winning speculative fiction writer, translator, curator and futurist. He explores issues of climate change and the environment, artificial intelligence and cybernetic society, and considers how ancient non-dualistic philosophies can be incorporated into the narrative framework for building a future symbiotic society. His works include the debut novel Waste Tide (2013) and AI 2041: Ten Visions for Our Future (2021, co-authored with Dr Kai-Fu Lee). Qiufan Chen has been honoured with the Taiwan Dragon Fantasy Award, the Galaxy Award and the Chinese Nebula Award.
