Tech Policy in Africa: A Conversation with Linda Bonyo and Frederike Kaltheuner

In this session, Frederike Kaltheuner and Linda Bonyo will discuss the characteristics, influences and approaches around Tech Policy on the African Continent. It is going to cover core questions, looking at different approaches to Data Governance, Digital Rights, the adaption and policy making around new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrencies, as well as competition regulation. 

They are also going to attempt a comparison: What does African Tech policy have in common with policy making within the EU? How is it different?
