The rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies is affecting the world of work in all its dimensions. Since 2018, the Directorate General Digital, Work, Society at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has been addressing questions surrounding a socially just digital transformation of work and society.

We look forward to connecting with you at re:publica 26: together with Federal Minister Bärbel Bas, we will discuss how we can jointly shape the transformation of the world of work through AI for innovation, economic growth, and good work. And in the session “Challenge Accepted!” hosted by the interministerial initiative Civic Coding, we will discuss ideas, synergies, and approaches for addressing societal challenges with AI.
