That’s how the story goes: a small, defiant country that leads the way into the future of money. The reality is starkly different. Hardly anyone uses Bitcoin outside the tourist-dedicated beach. The majority of the country thinks it’s only benefited the rich. When Bitcoiners cheer for the government, they’re not ushering in the technology of the future; they’re enabling a regime that’s violating the human rights of its citizens.
