With a background in mathematics, Joseph started his career in trading desks of banks as a Quantitative analyst. He then joined the energy sector to drive the market risk modeling for EDF. In 2016, he created the AI for Risk Management activity, driving the innovation on this emerging AI field. In 2020, he drove EDF's Quantum team as the director of the quantum effort.
In 2025, he joined Quobly to drive applications development. Joseph is the chairman of the Lab Quantique, an association that gather together the french quantum ecosystem.
