Lea is the country policy and AI lead at the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA). The DPGA is a multi-stakeholder initiative with a mission to accelerate the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by facilitating the discovery, development, use of, and investment in digital public goods. We are a secretariat of 10 staff members spread across the world. Prior to her current role, Lea co-led the open AI flagship programme "FAIR Forward - Artificial Intelligence for All" of the German development cooperation agency GIZ. She's a digital development professional with more than ten years of work experience and a firm belief that digital technologies can benefit people if designed, regulated, and governed responsibly.
